Sparrows are a small-self help disability group founded in 1987. The club has been helping hundreds of most excluded disabled people to come out of isolation, choose a healthier life style and participate in wheelchair sports.

The club has won many honours in National and International levels. Traditionally, we have been noticeably successful in offering help and support to disabled people from disadvantaged, ethnic minorities and refugees.

Sparrows offers training to disabled people as well as their relatives and friends and others who may be interested in this world-wide most popular disability sport, aiming to raise awareness and integration. We offer to attend schools and events to help breaking the barriers and raising the awareness and allow people to share the aspirations and the joy of this highly competetive sport.

Sparrows welcome all newcomers as we work with the grass roots as well as participating at the highest levels of the national League, regardless of ability, age or gender.

We also welcome any support and financial help and sponsorships to allow us expand our good work and continue helping those who need it most. Sparrows always need new sport wheelchairs and accessible transport, and support with training costs. We can publicise for the main sponsors in Tournaments in Europe and within the UK.
